Marketplace Terms
Last updated: [DATE]
These Marketplace Terms govern transactions on dzipmart.com between buyers and third-party sellers (“Tenants”) and service providers. They supplement, and are read together with, our Terms of Service.
1. DzipMart’s role
DzipMart operates a marketplace. For Tenant products and services:
- DzipMart is not the seller. The contract of sale is between you (the buyer) and the Tenant.
- DzipMart provides discovery, listing, payment processing, dispute mediation, and fulfillment infrastructure.
- DzipMart does not inspect, test, or warrant Tenant products or services, though we vet Tenants at onboarding.
For DzipMart-fulfilled products, DzipMart IS the seller; those are governed by the regular Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
2. Listings and descriptions
Tenants are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. If a listing is materially wrong (photo, description, price, specs, stock) you can:
- Contact the Tenant via the “Contact seller” link on the order
- Request a return under the Tenant’s return policy
- Open a Buyer Protection claim — see Buyer Protection
3. Pricing and payment
- Prices are set by the Tenant and shown at checkout
- Taxes are added at checkout where applicable
- DzipMart collects payment on behalf of the Tenant and remits to them after a clearance period
- Currency: shown at checkout; conversion (if any) happens at the payment gateway’s rate
4. Fulfillment
- The Tenant ships or delivers; shipping time is per our Shipping Policy and the Tenant’s stated lead time
- Tracking (where available) is provided after dispatch
- Failed / incorrect delivery — see Shipping Policy Section 7
5. Returns and refunds
- Each Tenant sets its own return window and conditions (typically 7–15 days) — shown on the product page
- If the Tenant won’t honour a valid return, Buyer Protection backs you up — see Buyer Protection
- Non-returnable items: see Refund Policy Section 4
6. Communication between buyer and seller
- Contact a Tenant through the Platform’s messaging (where enabled) or via the “Contact seller” link on the order
- Do not share personal information (bank details, OTPs, passwords) with sellers
- Transactions made off-platform are not protected by Buyer Protection
7. Buyer responsibilities
By purchasing from a Tenant, you agree to:
- Provide accurate shipping and contact info
- Inspect goods promptly on delivery
- Report issues within the return window
- Not commit friendly fraud (chargebacks on genuinely delivered items without cause)
8. Seller obligations (summary)
Full text in the Seller Agreement. Tenants agree to:
- Accurate listings
- Honouring stated return policies
- Shipping within the stated lead time
- Complying with applicable law (tax, labelling, product safety, licensing)
- Not listing prohibited items — see Content Guidelines
DzipMart may remove listings, suspend Tenants, or cancel orders that breach these obligations.
9. Ratings and reviews
- You may review a Tenant and its products after purchase
- Reviews must be honest, first-hand, and comply with our Content Guidelines
- DzipMart may remove reviews that violate guidelines or appear fraudulent
10. Taxes and invoicing
- For Tenant sales, the Tenant (where required by law) issues the tax invoice
- For DzipMart-fulfilled sales, DzipMart issues the invoice
- You are responsible for any customs duties on international orders — see Shipping Policy Section 5
11. Limitation of liability
DzipMart’s liability for marketplace transactions is limited to the mediation and Buyer Protection guarantees in this document. Claims against the Tenant for product quality, warranty, or suitability are between you and the Tenant.
12. Dispute resolution
- Contact the Tenant first
- If unresolved in 3 business days, open a Buyer Protection claim
- If still unresolved, follow the dispute resolution in the Terms of Service
